Most people know Chanbit as someone charismatic, fun, and friendly. As a beloved actor, most are limited to what they see on their television screen where his acting ability and natural charisma shine brightly, creating the illusion of someone more put together than he really is. In spite of that, Chanbit really is very skilled in his craft and seems capable of adapting well to social situations in order to keep up his reputation.
In reality, Chanbit Han is an immature, slightly spoiled if still friendly, mess. Spoiled by his manager/best friend, he relies heavily on him for many things and focuses entirely on his craft while allowing Baekyung to handle his everyday life. Until maturing further in the story, he has no qualms about allowing Baekyung to handle his food, or even carry him to the bath or dress him, even if he's obviously capable of actually doing these activities. This also manifests in more troublesome ways in his original refusal to end his promiscuous behavior, which is problematic for his company, and it's known that in order to keep Chanbit in line, it's important to work through Baekyung.
In regards to the promiscuous behavior, it's also an important side of him even if it does quickly fade into the background. Chanbit is a masochist and enjoys rough sex with no strings attach. When it comes to sexual encounters, he doesn't seem to reject many offers, and even initiates others if he detects an interest. However, the sexual encounters reveal some important things about Chanbit beyond his position in bed. The first trait we see is the occasional division between what he wants and the feelings he expresses. During one of these encounters, it's obvious that his partner is so bad that he isn't having a good time, and we see that he isn't even really interested in the first place and yet, his words and actions initially paint a different picture. This seems to clash with his stubborn behavior outside of the bedroom. It seems that he believes it's just easier to keep the peace and go along the interest.
It's also through sex that we see two of his largest traits: his desire to be loved and the belief he'll never be wanted outside of what he can offer in the bedroom. As a child, both parents were vocal in not wanting him and he's eventually sent to live with his father's mother who also expresses an inability, and lack of desire, to care for him. Not only was he often alone, received no wishes on his birthday, had important events skipped, etc, but it was also made known he was an active burden. Since he was raised by a poor grandmother, he was known as the poor kid at school, and the rich kids openly used his charisma and handsome face to attract girls. His first boyfriend preyed on this need to be loved and eventually hurt him in the same way. Because of this, Chanbit wants nothing more than to be loved and even admits that was his main reason for going into acting. People love actors, right? When those he does have sex with expresses a desire to date him or a sincere like for him, it's when he finally puts down his foot and gets rude if they still push for it — though to be fair, it does seem to be tied to how well the sex went in their minds. The sincere belief also allows him to have a casual sexual relationship with Baekyung and still be completely sure the other has no real feelings for him aside from that of a best friend.
That said, and even with the immaturity, Chanbit really does seem to be sincerely friendly. He makes friends easily, sincerely wants friends, and we see how eager he is when helping someone in the epilogue. Even after he gets together with Baekyung and thus has no sexual motivations, he takes a former underclassman under his wing and meets with him every morning to help him get better at acting. We also see him having friendly interactions with his stylist, whom he grows close to even after a sexual encounter with him becomes awkward, and he's willing to make several attempts to contact him after the stylist quits under mysterious circumstances. Furthermore, even while he relies on Baekyung, he does very much want Baekyung to be happy. There are many times he's willing to lie in order to keep Baekyung from defending his honor, and even Baekyung knows that if Chanbit feels down about something, Baekyung being happy is a quick way to cheer him up.
It's also worth noting that Chanbit really does actually enjoy sex. Though he sometimes goes along with it for the aforementioned reasons, he has a real libido and even has sexual fantasies.
When he finally does accept that he's loved, it sadly doesn't make all of his insecurities disappear. In the epilogue, we see what happens when someone takes an interest in Baekyung. Originally, he's a bit confused about his emotions, but he does later recognize that it's jealousy. Chanbit knows his boyfriend would never cheat, loves him, and is always there for him, but the part of him that's always been left won't quieten down. While he does sometimes express it badly, he does eventually manage to walk to Baekyung about his feelings. It is important to note that the third party does intentionally create these feelings.
Though immature, he isn't a coward. Chanbit does get fearful several times throughout the story but every time, he forces himself through it. When the stakes are high, he uses a combination of his acting skill and real bravery to do what must be done. The biggest example comes when he confronts his tormenter's father — who actually runs the company his tormenter works for and thus is the one who can reign in said antagonist — in spite of the things he'll be forced to admit and the man being known to be terrifying. He also confronts the third party that tries to divide him and Baekyung instead of allowing it to stew any further once he has confirmation that it's the case.
Speech patterns: Chanbit's word choices are neither especially casual or formal. To most people, he speaks with friendly ease that makes him popular, especially since he's quick to compliment. With those close or special to him, he becomes much more immature and is prone to whining and/or laziness.
APPEARANCE
With no canon height given, based on the average height of a Korean male and knowing writers normally exaggerate that height for taller males, I headcanon he's 5'9. Chanbit is slender but in a muscular enough way though it's canon that he doesn't like to work out very much and thus isn't the extremely muscular type. His hair is blond with matching light brown, almost yellow honey-like eyes. In spite of being 30-years-old, Chanbit retains a youthful and stylish appearance.
At home, Chanbit wears sweats, shorts, the usual kind of clothing one expects to find when someone lounges around. He dresses up a bit more when going out, also as expected of an actor. On the rare occasion he ventures out, he's forced to wear glasses, a hat, a mask, and other measures to hide his identity.

Originally, he's contracted with DZ Entertainment which is part of the DM group, which is one of the top three biggest corporations in Korea. However, after he quits DZ, he works with Baekyung who creates Bright Futures Entertainment.
Though Baekyung keeps pushing him with diet food and exercise, Chanbit loves junk food and has a preference for chicken. He can also eat a lot.
Chanbit went to the Seoul University of Arts.
He's had a very successful career. Not only has he won awards, but he's also been on many variety shows, models, and has starred in movies and dramas alike. Some of works include: 'Turbo', 'Taboo', and 'Leech' with 'Doctor of the Sun' an example of one of his dramas.

Chanbit has an open secret reputation of being gay and sleeping around. This causes some actors to want to work with him for that reason and some to refuse as they find it disgusting.

CHILD NEGLECT/EMOTIONAL ABUSE - Both of Chanbit's parents make it known that he isn't wanted. He's sent to live with his grandmother for no reason other than neither want to be parents, who is old and ill. Though she does raise him, he also overhears her demanding that they come and get him, which they never do. Chanbit grows up knowing he's not very loved which does create a deep need for love that's later abused.
SEXUAL MANIPULATION - Chanbit's first boyfriend recognizes his willingness to please in order to get love when seeing him going along with some guys who only want to be his friends in hopes of getting more girls. He uses this by showing Chanbit love and pushing him into a sexual relationship. Whenever Chanbit shows fear or reluctance, his boyfriend uses specific language that he knows will play against Chanbit's idea that refusal will lead to abandonment. This is shown to be very intentional who not only pushes him into a sexual relationship but a BDSM relationship even during Chanbit's first time.
SEXUAL VIOLENCE - Chanbit does like it hard and with some kinks, but that does attract some dangerous sorts. During one encounter with another actor, the man asks Chanbit to be in a relationship after being very selfish in bed. When Chanbit refuses and eventually has to be ruder in his refusal, the man strangles and nearly really hurts Chanbit.
SEXUAL EXTORTION/RAPE - When Chanbit was in his first relationship, his boyfriend recorded a lot of BDSM videos and threatens to release them should Chanbit not comply. This leads to a forced sexual relationship that doesn't end with sex. He also tries to isolate Chanbit by firing everyone who could be considered close to him. The man has no delusions about this being a loving relationship and considers Chanbit his property, something to be owned, and thus, he should submit instead of having any bite.
HOMOPHOBIA - This isn't a huge part of the story, but there are passing comments about certain people finding Chanbit's gay nature to be disgusting and when his stylist comes out to his family, his father hits him and kicks him out.
